  • What does it cost to hire a large room cabin?

    Large room cabins are available from $160 per week (including GST). You'll also need to pay one week's rent, a four-week bond, and delivery costs.

  • Do you require a bond?

    Yes. A four-week bond is required before delivery. WINZ may be able to assist eligible applicants with bond payments.

  • Can I get a quote?

    Absolutely. Complete our online application or contact our team for a detailed quote.

  • Is there a minimum hire period?

    Yes. Our minimum hire period is twelve months.

  • Are WINZ clients accepted?

    Yes. Cabin Hire Co is a preferred supplier with WINZ, with payments made through benefit redirection where applicable.

  • Do the cabins come with window coverings?

    Yes. All cabins include curtains and blinds.

  • Do the large room cabins include a stove or oven?

    No. Large room cabins are open-plan rooms and do not include kitchen facilities, ovens, or stoves.

  • How does wastewater work?

    As large room cabins do not include bathroom or kitchen facilities, wastewater connections are generally not required. If additional services are installed, any connection or consenting costs are the responsibility of the hirer.

  • What if my property has difficult access?

    Please send us photos of your accessway and intended cabin location. Generally, we require a driveway approximately 3.5 metres wide with sufficient clearance.

  • What if my site is difficult?

    The cabin site should be level, dry, and suitable for installation. Our team can assess your site before delivery.

  • Where do you deliver?

    We deliver throughout the Bay of Plenty. Please contact us if you require multiple cabins outside the region.

  • How much does delivery cost?

    Delivery costs vary depending on your location but generally start from $600. Contact us for an accurate quote.

  • Do you offer off-grid cabins?

    Not currently, although this is something we're exploring for the future. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
